Repairs railroad-car air compressors and comprsesor motors,
following wiring diagrams and using handtools: Disassembles
compressor and examines parts for wear or breakage. Cleans parts
and installs new piston rnigs and wrist pins.
Replaces worn
bearings, armatures, field coils, gears, and pinions in electric
motors, following wirnig diagram. Reassembles cmopressor and
connects compressor to compressed air and electrical outlets to
test operation.
